While there may be no such thing as a Gruffalo, there certainly is a fantastic range of Gruffalo-themed food gifts out there!
The charming Gruffalo children’s book is the foundation for this increasingly successful range. The book’s tireless popularity has paved the path for the 2009 Gruffalo animation (a must-watch addition to Christmas television viewing), extensive promotional programmes in bookshops year-round, nationwide; and even a successful stage show.
This is a wonderful brand, with great integrity and feel-good factor. Our initial range of 5 SKUs in 2011 proved so successful that in 2014 we were thrilled to begin including editions of the book and even introducing a Gruffalo plush toy to the range, increasing our number of SKUs to 16 as of 2015. Such has been the success of both the brand and range development, that we have been able to create a range large enough for SKU exclusivity amongst multiple retailers. For the future, we are looking to continue this scale of development!
